Described in Bilbao (1996) as an unfinished font of the Romanesque period that has the six lines carved in preparation for a similar ornament as the font in the other church, Iglesia de La Visitacion, also in Quintanilla Colina. It was never finished. Stem and lower base are plain except for a moulding towards the top of the stem [NB: Bilbao may have been right in her assumptions [cf. supra], although the 'lines' are not actually drawing lines but well-defined grooves, which may mean the font was deemed finished at the time]. Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_QUINTANILLA-COLINA_COLINAS_DE_VALDIVIELSO.pdf] [accessed 30 March 2023]: "La pila bautismal, de traza románica, se conserva hoy en la sacristía, tras la cabecera, aunque primitivamente ocupó el fondo de la nave, junto al muro norte, donde resta el basamento escalonado sobre el que se disponía. Su copa es semiesférica, de 98 cm de diámetro por 67 cm de altura, sobre basamento cilíndrico de 35 cm de alto. Decora la copa con tres listeles entre finas mediascañas, uno junto a la embocadura, otro a media altura y el tercero en su zona inferior."
