Described in Bilbao (1996) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period; a rope motif runs over the curious little arches that adorn the upper part of the basin; the round base has a serpent and four apples, according to Bilbao (ibid.) Valle Barreda (2009) mentions similarities between the fonts of Boada de Villadiego, Quintanarraya and Tablada del Rudrón. On-site notes: iron staples of the old cover are still evident in the upper basin rim. No cover present.
