Described in Bilbao (1996). Noted and illustrated in Valle Barreda (2009). The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_PINILLA_DE_LOS_BARRUECOS.pdf] [accessed 29 March 2023] notes a baptismal font of Romanesque appearance: "en su interior, trasladada de su primitiva ubicación al fondo de la nave al lado de la epístola de la cabecera, se conserva un sencillo ejemplar de pila bautismal de traza románica, con su copa –de 92 cm de diámetro × 43 cm de altura– decorada con una arquería de arcos de medio punto sobre columnillas de capitel simplemente insinuado y, en el mi[s]mo bloque, pie troncocónico de 15 cm de altura." The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 29 March 2023] notes: "La pila es románica con arcos en relieve y base circular". Baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the basin is ornamented with a blind arcade of round arches supported on columns (some patterned) with capitals), all very irregular work; on a squat round moulded base; extensive damage to the basin. No font cover present but the damage to the upper areas of the font appears to have been caused by metal staples used to anchor an earlier cover.
