Described in Bilbao (1996). Noted and illustrated in Valle Barreda (2009). The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 29 March 2023] notes: "La pila es románica con arcos en relieve, cenefa superior y pie cilíndrico". Baptismal font of the late-Romanesque or early-Gothic period; the basin is ornamented with an arcade of slightly pointed arches resting on columns with capitals and bases; above, a vine all around; some of the spandrels of the arcade are completed (at least one has a foliage motif), one at least is half-finished, and the others are untouched; on a squat round base. There are metal staples in the upper rim but there is no cover present at this time.
