Described in Bilbao (1996) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the upper part of the basin side has a band of quatrefoil motifs; the short base and round lower base are both plain. Noted in Valle Barreda (2009). Listed and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_PIEDRAHITA_DE_MUÑÓ.pdf] [accessed 28 March 2023]: "pila bautismal románica, de notable sencillez, con 89 cm de altura y 110 cm de diámetro. Se decora tan sólo con una cenefa superior a base de cuadrifolias, contando con un pie corto sobre basa circular".
