Described in Bilbao (1996) and in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a baptismal font of Romanesque appearance; the hemispherical basin is ornamented with ten rougly-executed and very weathered round arches between two rope mouldings; raised on a cylindrical base of later date. Noted in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_OLMOS_DE_ATAPUERCA.pdf] [accessed 11 April 2021]: "Su iglesia parroquial es un edificio renacentista que conserva en su interior una pila bautismal de posibles trazas románicas (120 cm de diámetro × 90 cm de altura). Consta de un pie cilíndrico, de factura más moderna, sobre el que apoya una copa semiesférica decorada con una tosca arquería de medio punto y dos molduras sogueadas, una en la embocadura y otra en la parte inferior." Las medidas son de 120 cms. de diámetro por 90 de altura."
