The church here is listed in Luciano Huidobro y Serna's Señorios de los prelados burgaleses [...] Iglesias (Boletin de la Institucion Fernan Gonzalez, CESIC, No. 126, Año XXXIII, 1954, p. 5), under the parish churches in the Arciprestazgo de Losa, with the comment: "Todas las iglesias tienen pila bautismal." The font here is described in Bilbao (1996:80, 282) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the basin sides have concave ribs of pronounced arrises; above them, two bands of radiated motif; plain quadrangular base. In Emiliano Nebrera Perdiguero (Burgos, 2016) [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 25 July 2020]: "La pila bautismal, interesante, es románica con gallones y dos anillos de rosetas y su pie es cilíndrico."
