Described in Bilbao (1996). Noted and illustrated in Valle Barreda (2009), who mentions similarities with the fonts at Pinilla-Trasmonte and Santa Maria de Mercadillo. The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_CILLERUELO_DE_ARRIBA.pdf] [accessed 19 March 2023] notes and illustrates a polygonal baptismal of the 13th century: "pila bautismal de forma poligonal decorada a su alrededor con doce arcos de medio punto doblados y peraltados que apoyan sobre columnillas pareadas. Baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the basin is dodecagonal and its sides are ornamented with an arcade of twelve round arches resting on paired columns with capitals and bases; the font rests directly on the ground.
