Described in Bilbao (1996). Described and illustrated in Valle Barreda (2005). The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_CEBRECOS.pdf] [accessed 19 March 2023] reports a Romanesque font in this church, a crudely executad work decorated with an arcade and other motifs: "pila bautismal, de labra muy tosca, ubicada a los pies de la nave meridional. La copa lleva bocel en la embocadura y va recorrida por una tosca guirnalda bajo la que vemos las habituales arquerías de medio punto apeadas sobre columnas dobles y triples. Sus dimensiones son 112 cm de diámetro y 80 de altura". The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed March 2023] reports a Romanesque font in its church: "iglesia dedicada a San Cristóbal, mártir, gótica de transición [...] la pila es románica con arcos y cenefa superior en relieve." Baptismal font of the Romanesque period; a rather crude example of unmounted font with a vine over an irregular arcade of double arches which rest on double or triple columns. No base. A very crudely executed work in a very bad state of repair, with many patches showing damage on it. There is no font cover present but one metal staple from an earlier cover remains in the upper rim. The carving on it is very crudely rendered, the best part of it being probably the schematic vine.
