Scene Description: Source caption: "St Clement Danes, Strand. Largely rebuilt by Christopher Wren, 1680-82, the tower's upper stages and spire the work of James Gibbs, 1719-20. The whole restored by Antony Lloyd in 1955-58 after it was burnt out in 1941. Grade I listed."

The R.A.F. (whose chapel it is/was) web site for this church describes it as "a font from the Norwegians" [i.e., a gift from the Norwegian Air Force] but does not indicate a date either [NB: it is quite possible that this may be a modern font]
