The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed March 2023] notes: "San Caprasio, mártir, es el titular de su iglesia, gótica, pero con multitud de añadidos en los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII [...] La pila es románica, con arquitos, sencilla". Described in Bilbao (1996: 274) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the basin sides are ribbed and decorated over the ribs with round arches; the inside of the bowl concave ribbing; round base on a square lower base. The entry for this village in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_CAÑIZAR_DE_ARGAÑO.pdf] [accessed 14 March 2023] mentions neither church nor font in it.
