The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed March 2023] notes: "la pila es románica con arcos y sogueado en borde, sencilla". Described in Bilbao (1996). Noted in Valle Barreda (2009). Noted also in the Enciclopedia del Románico en Castilla y León. Baptismal font of the Romanesque period; the basin has rope motif at the upper rim; arcade of round arches populated with hieratic figures; rests directly on the ground. [NB: the original church was part of a Premonstratensian monastery of the mid-12th century]
