Described in the Enciclopedia del románico https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/alava_ARCHÚA.pdf] [accessed 9 March 2023] as a font devoid of any decoration: "Conserva el templo una pila bautismal carente de decoración. Consta de copa lisa, pie cilíndrico y base circular." The font actually does have a damaged moulding at the bottom of the stem of the base; tha basin appears to have a partition inside, now almost obliterated; if the partition was original the font would date in the 16th or 17th century, but it may have been added to a medieval font. No cover present.
