There is an entry of r[Little] Barrington [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/SP2012/little-barrington/] [accessed 9 March 2023]; it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. The Victoria County History (Gloucester, vol. 6, 1965) notes: "Of the late 12th-century church there survives the south doorway [...] The font is 15th-century," Illustrated in Cook & Smith (1976). Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. C15 octagonal bowl with good carving". Octagonal mounted baptismal font in the Perpendicular style; the basin sides are ornamented with a Tudor rose inside a quatrefoil window; there is a motif (?) on each side of the octagonal chamfer; the base is also octagonal but plain and the font stands on a quadrangular plinth. The wooden font cover, flat and plain, with a knob handle, is modern.
