Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. V*: 157) and in Domeño (1992: 82, 145 and pl. 108, 109): Romanesque chalice-shaped baptismal font of the 12th century; the round basin has three round arches, each containing a figure: the left holds up a tambourine, the centre one holds a horn and the right one has its arms akimbo; the two spandrels of the arcade have a triangle and a rosette respectively; the base, a fragment of square pedestal ornamented with a Latin cross and side fluting, is, as Domeño points out, obviously not the original. The font at Vidaurre, also in Navarra [cf. Index entry for Vidaurre], has similar figures and is altogether quite alike this one. Described in Bilbao (1996: 246 fn375) as depicting musicians and dancers who accompany the celebration of a christening. No mention of this church is made in the ennry for Eguiarreta in the Enciclopedia del romanico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/navarra_Eguiarreta.pdf] [accessed 3 March 2023], which describes only the Ermita de Santiago de Itsasperri; this 'ermita' Is thought o have been the parish church of the disappeared hamlet of that name, but it had already been abandoned in the Middle Ages; as such, it would have had a baptismal font of which nothing is known [cf. BSI entry for Eguiarreta No. 2 for a holy-water stoup in Itsasperri/Ichasperri]
