Church Notes: medieval church; re-built 18thC
Described and illustrated in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. IV**: 278 and pl. 327) and in Domeño (1992: figs. 100-102, p. 78-79, 142): Romanesque baptismal font of the 12th century; the hemispherical basin with two large human heads, one male, one female, on the basin side; lower down on the side, a row of ribs, flowers, etc. in circles; the stem of the base is cylindrical and the lower base is square and ornamented with reticular pattern. Noted in Plazaola Artola (2008?). No entry found in the Enciclopedia del romanico.
