The font here is described and illustrated in Uranga & Iñiguez (1973), in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990-) and in Domeño (1992): baptismal font of the 13th century; the hemispheric basin is ornamented with a band of leaves and palmettes around the upper basin side; the sides have vegetal garland motif in a spaced ribeed pattern; the stem of the base has four human figures -which Domeño identifies as the Rivers of Paradise- and, between them, two birds, two branches and a human head. Described and illustrated in Estella-Lizarra (2001) as a baptismal font of the late-12th or early-13th century; it identifies the figures of the base as the four rivers of Paradise [after Domeño]. In Plazaola Artola (2008?) as Romanesque, probably 12th-century. Franchez Apecechea and Huarte Huarte (2012) report the location of the font to the vecinity of the retable of Our Lady of Rosary, in the north aisle, after the recent rehabilitation of the whole church complex. The font may belong to the period of expansion of this church in the mid-13th century. There is an entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del romanico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/navarra_Estella.pdf] [accessed 2 March 2023] where a Gothic chapel is mentionaed containing a baptismal font of the same period and workshop: "Creemos que en relación con ella habría que poner la pila bautismal conservada en la iglesia, que parece obra del mismo taller."
