The medieval font here is described and illustrated in Fischer's entry for this church in Sveriges kyrkor (1922) where he points out its similarity to English models, and he gives cognate fonts in the area [="Dopfunt av sandsten (fig. 133). H: 67 cm. Diam. 74 cm." Noted in Hallbäck (1971) as a baptismal font attributed to the Johannes workshop. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920520F2]; the SHM entry refers to Hallbäck's attribution to Johannes but describes this font as made of sandstone in the 13th century by a provincial hand. A 1928 B&W photograph by Ärland Noréen shows a modern font in use inside the renovated church; it shows near the pulpit.
