3, p. 158-167) report on the monthly meeting of the society and include a communication by M. Cassiers on Les fonts baptismaux de l'église d'Archennes (Brabant): "M. In Saintenoy (1892). Cloquet (1895) includes the Archennes font among the Mosan type of rounded basins with four heads, at 90-degree angles. Illustrated in Pudelko (1932); the base is a round pedestal with some relief. Catalogued and illustrated in Ghislain (2009) as the basin of a baptismal font of the Namurois group, filiation de Saint-Séverin-en-Condroz, made of limestone (calcaire de Meuse) ca. 1160-65; the font had been kept in the rectory until its restoration in 1890, and placed in the chancel of the church -in the presbitery- in July 2002. Ghislain (ibid.) further notes that the lower base is totally uncharacteristic of this filiation and it must have belonged to another font.
