Listed in Drake (2002: 183) as a baptismal font of the Calcarius workshop ornamented with spiral tendril. Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 940601F1] as a limestone font made by the Calcarius workshop in the first half of the 13th century. The font consists of a cylindrical basin decorated with a continuous vine making round loops and bearing fruit on the sides; moulding below with beaded-tape and rope braided together; the underbowl is covered in a scalloped pattern; round splaying stem with upper roll moulding, and three heads on the sides (two male humans and one lion); round-to-square lower base with roll moulding, band of gog-tooth, a second moulding; a leaf in each of the four corners of the square. No cover present. The baptismal dish was a donation in 1937. There is a later font of 1758 in this church.
