In Roosval (1918) and in Strömbom (1942). Listed in Drake (2002: 183) as a baptismal font of the Calcarius workshop ornamented with spiral tendril. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900529F1] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the first half of the 13th century by Calcarius; some colour present on it [NB: the SHM entry remarks that Calcarius' fonts are usually made of limestone but this one is an exception]. The cylindrical basin is decorated with a large vine forming large circles all around, while the underbowl is covered in a scalloped pattern; the round-to-square base has hierarchical-looking figures seated in rich chairs or thrones at the corners; three of them appear to be holding a book but the fourth holds a large key in his right hand while his left is raised with palm out; between the figures are an odd assortment of scenes: a man leaning on a stick walks to the right with a large plant or tree behind; two animals represented anthropomorphically, one of which is described in the SHM as a wolf in sheeps clothing; an odd-looking animal appears to hold to a plant or tree; a large horned bird at a plant or tree; the centre-ring molding at the neck of the base is large and richly decorated. No cover present.
