Listed and illustrated in Danmarks Kirker [http://danmarkskirker.natmus.dk/uploads/tx_tcchurchsearch/Sjyll_1523-1540.pdf] [accessed 3 February 2023] as a baptismal font of granite decorated with scenes that include Christ in Majesty with accompanying by standing humans, a human armed with sword fighting a dragon, strutting lions, etc.; the base has human heads and vines on it: "Døbefont, romansk, af granit, med næsten cylinderformet, billedsmykket kumme, godt 75 cm i tvm. The DK entry (ibid.) reports a brass baptismal dish ["Dåbsfad"] of ca. 1700 in use on the old granite font. The two blocks of the font are of different colour stone, the round-to-square base having a reddish hue; there is a roll moulding on the stem, and another on the lower base, the latter having heads -at least two of which are human- set at 90 degree angles.
