The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed January 2023]:
"iglesia, dedicada Santa María, renacentista [...] cabecera románica [...] [s]u ábside es románico [...] La pila es románica, de copa lisa con bordes moldurados y pie y base circular con moldura". The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_VIRTUS.pdf] [accessed 14 January 2023] does not mention a font in it but gives the 12th-13th century date as the original fort the church, which was much modified in 1739. No cover present but the upper rim has anchoring holes for a cover lock.
