Baptismal font probably of the Romanesque period. Partly illustrated in Hildebrand (1907: fig. 123), who shows the figure of a warrior armed with sword and shield. Described and illustrated by Maja Lundquist in Roosval (1917) where she dates the font to the 12th century and describes an arcade populated with a Christ in Majesty, a warrior on horseback, a dragon [the two form a scene], a warrior on foot armed with shield and sword fighting(?) a lion, a kneeling woman holding forward a child. Nordström (1984) imentions the Christ in Majesty on the font. Noted in Hallbäck (1971). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 950518F2] as a "Skaragruppen" baptismal font made of sandstone in the late-12th century. The decorative elements on the basin sides seem to gather in three scenes: 1)a kneeling male figure offers a soul to the Christ in Majesty in the next [right] arch; 2)a warrior on horseback faights the large forked-tongue dragon that comes to him from the next [right] arch; 3)a warrior on foot armed with sword and shield faces a standing lion in the next [right] arch; the arcade has foliated motifs in the spandrels. The medieval font was sold to the SHM in the late-19th century. Church uses a wooden font from about that period, the late-19th century.
