Noted in Hallbäck (1966) as the very weathered basin of a 13th-century baptismal font decorated with an arcade of six arches containing: a lilly, a cross, a bird, another animal and a Crucifix. Nordström (1967) identifies a Crucifixion is on this font. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920610F2] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200 by a regional workshop; the basin is extremely weathered but an arcade of seven arches is still discernible; there is a rope moulding at the bottom of the underbowl; the base is a modern replacement; no drain, no lining; the SHM entry mentions a Crucifixion, a bird and a cross, and a plat or tree (Tree of Life?) as the identifiable motifs. The church has a later font that was in use at some point; in old photographs it is located at the northeast end; it is probably 17th-century or later. The medieval font has taken its place now [ca. 2020] at the northeast corner; it is in use with a brass baptismal dish and is provided with a cake-shaped font cover of the same metal [cf.
