Described and illustrated in Dahlberg (1998: 110ff) as a Romanesque baptismal font with a cylindrical basin decorated with an arcade with abstract ornamental motifs in the arches. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920519F2] as a Johannesgruppen baotismal font made of sandstone in the mid-12th century; the arcade around the basin sides has varied patterns of interlace but one of the arches has a twisting dragon in it; the font is now raised on a modern round plinth. On-site notes: the roughly cylindrical basin is in fair shape though it appears to have one large crack; it is mounted on two stone rings: the upper matches the font in appearance, although it is plain; the lower one is a modern addition. No cover present. The general shape of the font and the details of the ornamentation resemble very much those of the font at Hangelösa, in the same region. Also listed in Fischer.
