Scene Description: Nativity. To the left, Joseph sits in profile, on a Gotland chair, he is bearded, the left side of his head rests on left hand, the right hand supports the left arm on his knee. To the right of Mary's bed, (an animal head on headboard of bed). She has three pillows, jewelled cover, her right hand rests outside of the cover. Above her and Joseph, an angel comes out of the cloud with a censor. There are no haloes on this font. To the right of Mary, a woman sits on a chair, Gotland chair, wears a head cover, the left hand holds left knee, the right hand palm down, supports or touches the craddle. Boat like shape for cradle, the baby is swaddled and lies to the left (head) - above the cradlle the ox and ass.

B02: New Testament - Childhood and youth of Christ - three Wise Men - adoration of the kings
Scene Description: Adoration of the Magi. The magi walk from left to right, in profile, crowned, only the first has a beard, all three three richly dressed with capes - all three hold up the gifts with the right hand - the fingers of the left hand are visible. To the right of the kings and facing them, Madonna and Child on Gotland chair, wears a rich cape, profile, holds child on her lap. The child 's left hand rests on his knee and the right hand is raised in benediction to the first king. A star above them.

Listed in Drake (2002: 183) as a baptismal font of the Calcarius workshop. Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920719F2] as a Calcarius font made of limestone in the early-13th century. Noted and illustrated in Ullén & Ljungstedt (2003) as a baptismal font made of Gotland limestone. On-site notes: Romanesque font by the Calcarius master of Gotland. The font is in three pieces and there is no evidence of paint on it now. Both basin and base are well preserved. Plinth is shaped the same as the base - but carved in different stone. [cf.
