Roosval (1925) gives date 1177-188. Noted in Blomqvist (1929) with date in the early-13th century. Studied and illustrated in Swartling (1971), with attribution to Sighraf. Noted in Nordström (1984). Inventoried and illustrated in Borg (2002) with date ca. 1180. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910611F2] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the last quarter of the 12th century, the base vandalised with heads broken off. On-site notes: chalice-shaped baptismal font of the Sighraf workshop; the basin is cylindrical and ornamented with scenes from the Childhood of Christ: Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Christ's first bath, Adoration of the Magi, Dream of the Magi, departure of the Magi; the underbowl is plain, as are the sides of the base between the damaged corner figures of the base [NB: it is not clear that they were so originally; may just have been eroded or erased]. There is an inscription on the upper rim; now unreadable. No cover present.
