The figure to the right points her left arm to the left, has her left arm on right shoulder of other person. Not really embracing, so not the visitation.

Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Gotland (Bd. VI, hft. 8: 731-738, 771): "the outside and the underside of the font are decorated with a series of relief carvings illustrating Christ's childhood. The font dates from the end of the 12th century and is considered to be the work of a master stone-carver, who, because of an inscription on a similar font of the Etelhem church, has been given the name Hegwaldr." The pictorial program of this font is modelled on the Stånga font. In Roosval (1918). Lundberg (1937). In Nordström (1984). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910821F2] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the mid-12th century by Hegvald. On-site notes: the basin is slightly conical, the circumference of the upper basin sides being somewhat narrower than that of the lower; chamfered underbowl with more scenes from the life of Christ: iconographical programme on the basin sides L-->R: SW: Annunciatio and Visitation; S: Flight to Egypt; SE+E: Miracle of the Harvest + Massacre of the Innocent; NE+N: Samson and the lion, with miracle of crowing cockerel and John the Baptist; N+NW+W: Nativity. The programme on the underbowl sides includes: SW+S: Adoration of the Magi; SE+E: Last Supper?; NE: Martyrdom of St Stephen? Baptism of Christ?; N: Herod with sword; NW: three Magi not crowned and dressed as pilgrims carrying walking sticks. The details on the base include: W: quadruped; S: twisted motif; E: body of one human prey; N: reticular pattern; on the corners of the base: SW: beast with prey and linked to another head; SE: similar; NE: similar with two human prey; NW: similar with single prey; the round base has very-protruding heads and interlace pattern ornamentation, though the lower part is plain; the font is in good condition, with base and basin being equally worn, and the iconographic program easy to read [cf. Image section for full details]. It now stands on a wide stone plinth which is inserted into the wooden floor; at the time of the SK photograph of 1985 (ibid., pl. 863 on p. 732) the plinth was not incrusted in the floor, while on the C.F. Lindberg photograph of 1875 (ibid., pl. 871, p. 738) it had no plinth at all.
